Merced Theatre Ticketing Policies & Patron Code of Conduct
SEATING:
The Merced Theatre offers premium seating with a gently sloping floor allowing every patron a great view of the stage. You can see the seat locations below on our chart, and you can select your seats using our online ticketing system rather than the traditional online service which has a robot randomly select them for you. Should you prefer a random selection, our system also offers that option.
TICKETING POLICIES:
You can purchase tickets online at our ticketing site, or by calling our box office, (209) 381-0500, or by visiting our box office at 301 W Main St., Tuesday – Friday, 12pm – 5pm.
On the day of the show, our box office opens 1 hour prior to the show start time. The Doors to the theatre open typically 1 hour prior to the show start time.
Our ticket fees are lower than most concert venues our size. Fees go directly to pay for our ticketing system, and to support theatre events and maintenance.
WILL CALL:
Will Call tickets are available when the box office is open. To avoid the day-of-show line, you can pickup your ticket order at the box office during normal box office hours (Tuesday – Friday, 12pm – 5pm). We require a photo ID to pick up tickets. If you would like someone else to pick up your tickets, please email info@mercedtheatre.org or call the box office at 209-381-0500.
REFUNDS:
We do not offer refunds or exchanges on ticket purchases.
Effective January 1st 2015:
You can cancel your ticket at any time up until show-time. If we are able to re-sell your ticket to the event, we will issue a refund in the original form of payment less any ticketing fees. If we are unable to re-sell your ticket, we will honor the purchase price of your tickets, less any ticketing fees, as a donation to the Merced Theatre Foundation. (Only applicable for Merced Theatre Presented Events)
For non-Merced Theatre Presented events we cannot offer any refunds or exchanges.
CHILDREN:
The Merced Theatre is an All Ages venues unless otherwise noted. However, we do discourage parents from bringing small children to a show not intended for their age due to the possibility of adult content and/or volumes exceeding safe levels for infants' ears.

As per Fire Marshall regulation, all patrons MUST have a ticket to enter the venue, regardless of age.
PAYMENT METHODS:
The box office accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Cash, and Check.

WHEELCHAIR / HANDICAPPED SEATING:
There is seating available throughout the theatre for both handicapped and wheelchair patrons. These seats are available online for purchase as well as by calling our box office. Seats marked with a "W" are wheelchair accessible and have no physical seat. Seats marked with a "C" are for patrons attending with someone that utilizes the wheelchair seating. If you choose this seating and do not comply with the ADA regulations, you could be asked to be seated elsewhere, or could be asked to leave if no alternative seating is available without a refund. If a seat is designated with a W, there is no physical seat there. It is reserved for our patrons in a wheelchair. Add-in seats are not available for these seats.
YOUR ONLINE PROFILE:
Our ticketing system allows you to setup a profile for you so that any time you return to purchase tickets, all of your contact information is already available. We do not store your credit card information. We do not share or sell your information to or with any other organization.
PATRON CODE OF CONDUCT:
The Art Kamangar Center at The Merced Theatre asks all guests to be respectful of others around them. Any guest who interferes with the enjoyment of another individual during an event is subject to ejection from the building without refund. During performances we ask all guests to remain seated for the duration of the performance. Depending on the demographics of certain events (such as concerts), standing may be accepted as normal protocol. Guests are permitted to stand if the majority of the audience is doing the same. Some entertainers will instruct the Merced Theatre staff not to ask anyone to sit down during their performance. Standing on seats or any other building structure is not permitted and may result in ejection from the event.
LATE SEATING POLICY:
Events at The Art Kamangar Center at The Merced Theatre start at the time posted on the event page. Late seating can be disruptive to the performer and to the audience. Latecomers will be seated at the discretion of the artist and the The Art Kamangar Center at The Merced Theatre staff. The Merced Theatre Box will remain open for 30 minutes after the scheduled start time of a performance. Patrons arriving more than 45 minutes after the scheduled start time for a performance may risk forfeiting their designated seats and be required to sit in available seats.
